She combines:
*Residential real estate professional with Alain Pinel Realtors in Los Altos since 2007.
*A decade as a private commercial real estate investor, purchasing and selling office buildings and shopping centers using 1031 exchanges to defer taxes.
*Expertise in working with municipalities to approve potentially sensitive development, and ability to oversee large scale renovation as an owner and manager of a Palo Alto hotel.
*An extensive marketing background as VP Marketing for a computer related firm, Press Secretary for a gubernatorial campaign, Director of Marketing for a national accounting firm.
*A detailed knowledge of the area as a long time resident of the Bay Area.
With her extensive marketing and management background, Lynn understands well how to market and negotiate on behalf of her clients.
Lynn graduated from Los Altos High School, UC Berkeley (BA-English) and received her MSW in Administration from University of Washington. Her three children attended Santa Rita School in Los Altos; her daughters graduated from Castilleja School in Palo Alto, and her son from Menlo School in Atherton. One daughter has since earned a degree from Brown University, one from Whitman College, and her son is a senior at Davidson College.
Lynn has served on several boards, including TheatreWorks, several development committees for various organizations, and she and her husband are active members of Los Altos Golf Club where Lynn has participated on the House and Long Range Planning Committees.
Lynn is a member of National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors, Silicon Valley Association of Realtors and the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce. She has earned the following designations: Distressed Property Certified; Quality Service Certified; Senior Real Estate Specialist; GREEN, a sustainable building designation; ePro, an advanced technology designation, RELO, a relocation specialist, and Certified Investor Agent Specialist. She has served on the Government Affairs committee of Silvar.
